Post Malone is notorious for keeping his private life low-key. Props to him, actually, since that is super rare for a rapper these days.
A lot of them like telling the world every bit about their lives, ranging from what kind of cars they’ve got up to their relationship with the Big G – or lack thereof. And as for Post Malone, he doesn’t seem like the type of guy to be religious nor spiritual.
However, there have been speculations that the Circles hitmaker is actually Jewish – and we’re here to find out whether or not that is true.
Does Post Malone Have Jewish Background?
Austine Richard Post, better known as Post Malone, has been particularly private about his Pre-madonna life. Hence, if he shares anything about his religious beliefs, you best believe that it’s super easy to track it down.
But after a few minutes of relentless research, we can definitely say that the rumors about Post Malone being Jewish are absolutely false.
There is no evidence to prove that Post Malone is a follower of the Jewish faith. His ancestors do not have any Jewish background as well. It is unknown where these claims came from in the first place.
Until such time that we hear Post personally confirm it, or see him entering a synagogue, it is very unlikely that the New York native is Jewish.
Post Malone’s Take On Religious Beliefs
Unlike most celebrities who claim to be ‘spiritual rather than religious, Post might just be none of the above. In an interview with The Rollingstones Magazine in 2017, he hinted that he may have gone the secular path in his life:
“I used to be super religious. I believed in God. But now I see through it.”
The use of past tense in his sentence is truly interesting. Moreover, he also shared what he felt about people with extreme dedication to their religious beliefs.
At one point, he even described Justin Bieber, who is known for being openly Christian, as ‘real culty’ after he allegedly donated $10million to Hillsong:
“[Justin] has already given them, like, $10million. Those are the worst kinds of people… It’s nice to support something you believe in, I guess. But people are spending so much money, and God doesn’t care that your church as a f—-ng gold roof.”
Are Ghosts Haunting Post Malone?
He may not identify as a religious person, but that doesn’t mean Post Malone is exempted from paranormal activities. Before he went mainstream, Post got invited to The Haunted Museum by Zak Bagans, who happens to be the owner of the place and Post’s good friend.
It was then that Post came face to face with the dybbuk box which, legend has it, contains a very malevolent Yiddish spirit. It is said to curse anyone who encounters the box by giving them bad luck. Many witnesses have come forward to confirm that claim, and it seems that Post is one of them.
Here’s everything that, apparently, has happened to Post Malone after his eerie encounter with the dybbuk box:
- Armed robbers came and broke into his old home to specifically look for Post
- The plane he was on had to make an emergency landing after two tires exploded shortly after take-off
- A few days after the plane incident, he got totaled in a nasty car crash, destroying his $300,000 car
Do you think these were caused by the vicious Yiddish spirit in the dybbuk box or is it all just a big coincidence? Let us know what you think!
