On top of that, she also shared what she eats in a day. Take a look at her meal plan for breakfast, lunch, and dinner:
- Breakfast: Olivia’s first meal of the day is not as extravagant and bountiful as you would expect (blame the American movies for making us believe that their breakfasts are always a buffet). Instead, she enjoys a simple bowl of cereal and a glass of orange juice. Nothing fancy!
- Lunch: Olivia goes green at lunchtime! She eats fruits, veggies, and salads to give her the extra energy boost she needs for the rest of the day. This is especially crucial since her exercise routines are apparently scheduled in the late afternoon. Can’t do ab workouts with an empty stomach.
- Dinner: Olivia ends her day with a healthy meal – fruits, veggies, and salads. Maybe some desserts here and there, but it’s not really a part of her meal plan. Besides, she’s just 19 years old. She should be allowed to munch down on some sweets.
Is Olivia Rodrigo Vegan or Vegetarian?
Now, some of you may be wondering what’s the difference between veganism and vegetarianism. The key difference all boils down to the menu.
Vegans do not consume or use any animal products at all. This means that leather shoes, dairy products, eggs, and meat are a major no-no in veganism. Meanwhile, vegetarians do eat non meat animal products such as dairy and eggs. They can also wear leather shoes.
So, is Olivia Rodrigo vegan or vegetarian? Based on her diet, it seems that Olivia follows a vegetarian lifestyle. This was confirmed during her appearance in the YouTube series Hot Ones by the channel First We Feast. The chicken wings she ate in the episode were, in fact, plant-based.
Olivia Rodrigo’s Filipino Heritage and Vegetarianism
In a previous article, we discussed how Olivia’s Filipino culture has influenced her food choices. In fact, she revealed that many classic Filipino dishes are still being served in her household, despite the fact that her great grandpa moved away from the Philippines several years ago.
With that said, is it possible that Filipino cuisine inspired Olivia to go vegetarian?
Let us consider her favorite Filipino dish: lumpia rolls. Now, we may not know the exact recipe that her grandma follows when making lumpia rolls, but we do know that its ingredients are mostly plant-based. Other classic Filipino dishes are also rich in veggies, such as:

- Tortang talong (eggplant omelette)
- Chop suey
- Pancit
- Ginataang langka
Perhaps it’s safe to say that Olivia’s Filipino roots also played a part in her dietary choices.
